Born in 1979 in New Jersey, Geraldi grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to music from a young age. His father was a professional trumpet player, and his mother was a music teacher. Geraldi began playing the trumpet at the age of nine and quickly developed a passion for music. Geraldi attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in trumpet performance. He then went on to earn a Master of Music degree in orchestral conducting from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. During his time at the University of Cincinnati, Geraldi studied under the renowned conductor Mark Gibson and had the opportunity to conduct the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. After completing his studies, Geraldi began his career as a conductor and music educator. He served as the assistant conductor of the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra from 2005 to 2007 and was the music director of the Greensboro Symphony Youth Orchestra from 2006 to 2010. In 2010, Geraldi was appointed as the director of orchestral studies at the Hayes School of Music at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. Since then, Geraldi has become a highly sought-after conductor and has led numerous orchestras and ensembles across the United States. He has conducted the North Carolina Symphony, the Winston-Salem Symphony, the Charlotte Symphony, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, among others. He has also conducted internationally, leading the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Costa Rica and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Guayaquil in Ecuador. Geraldi has received numerous awards and accolades for his work as a conductor. In 2012, he was named the North Carolina Symphony's Young Conductor of the Year. In 2014, he was awarded the Maxine Swalin Award for Outstanding Orchestral Conductor by the North Carolina Federation of Music Clubs. In 2016, he was named the winner of The American Prize in Conducting in the college/university orchestra division. One of the highlights of Geraldi's career was his performance with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra in 2013. He conducted the orchestra in a program that included Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 and Brahms' Symphony No. 2.
