Role:EnsembleKOBLSAI is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2015 by a group of talented musicians who shared a passion for chamber music. The ensemble's name is an acronym for the first letter of each member's name: Katarzyna Duda (violin), Olga Kowalska (violin), Bartosz Paczkowski (viola), Łukasz Syrnicki (cello), and Anna Iwanicka-Nijakowska (piano). The members of KOBLSAI are all accomplished musicians who have studied at some of the most prestigious music schools in Europe, including the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. They have also participated in numerous masterclasses and workshops with renowned musicians such as Maxim Vengerov, Zakhar Bron, and András Schiff. Since its founding, KOBLSAI has performed extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and North America, earning critical acclaim for their virtuosic performances and innovative programming. The ensemble has collaborated with some of the world's leading musicians, including pianist Krzysztof Jabłoński, cellist Andrzej Bauer, and violinist Vadim Gluzman. One of the highlights of KOBLSAI's career was their performance at the 2017 International Chamber Music Festival in Łódź, Poland, where they received a standing ovation for their interpretation of Brahms' Piano Quintet in F minor. The ensemble has also been invited to perform at numerous other prestigious festivals, including the Rheingau Musik Festival in Germany, the Festival Internacional de Música de Cámara de Aguascalientes in Mexico, and the Festival de Música de Cámara de San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. In addition to their live performances, KOBLSAI has also released several critically acclaimed recordings, including their debut album, "From Bach to Piazzolla," which features works by Bach, Mozart, and Piazzolla. The album was praised for its "impeccable technique, musicality, and sensitivity" by Gramophone magazine. KOBLSAI has also been recognized for their outstanding achievements in the field of classical music. In 2018, the ensemble was awarded the prestigious Paszport Polityki award, which is given annually to the most outstanding artists in Poland. The award committee praised KOBLSAI for their "exceptional talent, dedication, and passion for music."
