After completing his undergraduate degree in music composition, Bellona went on to earn a Master's degree in electronic music and multimedia composition from Brown University. During this time, he began to develop his unique style of blending classical and electronic music. One of Bellona's most notable works is his multimedia opera, "The Sky is a Clock". This piece combines live performance with electronic music and video projections to create a truly immersive experience for the audience. The opera tells the story of a woman who is trapped in a time loop and must find a way to break free. Another notable work by Bellona is his album, "The Sound of the Sun". This album is a collection of electronic music inspired by the sounds of the sun as recorded by NASA's Solar and Heliospheric Observatory. Bellona used these recordings as the basis for his compositions, creating a unique and otherworldly sound. In addition to his work as a composer, Bellona is also a professor of music at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He teaches courses in music composition, electronic music, and multimedia performance, and has inspired many young musicians to explore the possibilities of blending classical and electronic music.
