David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz, and Jerry Harrison are four musicians who have made significant contributions to the world of classical music. Each of them has a unique background and style, but they all share a passion for creating beautiful and innovative music. David Byrne was born on May 14, 1952, in Dumbarton, Scotland. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and attended the Rhode Island School of Design, where he met Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth. In 1975, the three of them formed the band Talking Heads, with Jerry Harrison joining later as a keyboardist and guitarist. Talking Heads quickly gained a reputation for their unique blend of punk, funk, and world music influences. Their first album, Talking Heads: 77, was released in 1977 and included the hit single "Psycho Killer." Over the next decade, the band released several more critically acclaimed albums, including Remain in Light, Speaking in Tongues, and Stop Making Sense. One of the highlights of Talking Heads' career was their collaboration with filmmaker Jonathan Demme on the concert film Stop Making Sense. The film, which was released in 1984, is widely regarded as one of the greatest concert films of all time and helped to cement the band's reputation as one of the most innovative and influential acts of the 1980s. After Talking Heads disbanded in 1991, David Byrne continued to pursue a successful solo career. He has released several albums, including Rei Momo, which features Latin American music influences, and Grown Backwards, which includes collaborations with artists such as Brian Eno and St. Vincent. Byrne has also worked on several film and theater projects, including the musical Here Lies Love, which tells the story of former Philippine First Lady Imelda Marcos. Tina Weymouth was born on November 22, 1950, in Coronado, California. She grew up in New York City and attended the Rhode Island School of Design, where she met David Byrne and Chris Frantz. In addition to playing bass guitar in Talking Heads, Weymouth also played in the band Tom Tom Club with her husband, Chris Frantz. Tom Tom Club was formed in 1981 and released their self-titled debut album the following year. The album included the hit single "Genius of Love," which has been sampled by numerous hip-hop and R&B artists over the years. Tom Tom Club went on to release several more albums, including Boom Boom Chi Boom Boom and Dark Sneak Love Action. In addition to her work with Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club, Weymouth has also collaborated with other artists, including David Bowie, Brian Eno, and Gorillaz. She has also worked on several film and television projects, including the soundtrack for the film Married to the Mob. Chris Frantz was born on May 8, 1951, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and attended the Rhode Island School of Design, where he met David Byrne and Tina Weymouth. In addition to playing drums in Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club, Frantz has also worked as a producer and songwriter. After Talking Heads disbanded, Frantz and Weymouth continued to work together in Tom Tom Club. They also formed the band The Heads, which released the album No Talking, Just Head in 1996. The album featured guest vocalists such as Debbie Harry, Michael Hutchence, and Johnette Napolitano. Frantz has also produced albums for other artists, including Happy Mondays and Ziggy Marley.
