The Soloists of the Europa Symphony is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 1990 by a group of talented musicians who shared a passion for chamber music. The ensemble is based in Europe and is made up of some of the most accomplished musicians from across the continent. The founding members of the ensemble were violinist David Johnson, cellist Maria Rodriguez, and pianist Anna Petrova. In 2002, they worked with the British composer Michael Nyman on a new piece for string quartet and piano, which was premiered at the Barbican Centre in London.
