Albert Dominguez was born on May 15, 1985, in Madrid, Spain. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned classical guitarist and his mother a pianist. From a young age, Dominguez showed a natural talent for music, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion. Dominguez began his musical education at the age of six, studying piano and violin. He quickly excelled in both instruments, and by the age of ten, he had already performed in several concerts and competitions. At the age of twelve, he decided to focus solely on the violin, and he began studying with some of the most renowned violin teachers in Spain. In 2001, Dominguez was accepted into the prestigious Reina Sofia School of Music in Madrid, where he studied under the guidance of Zakhar Bron, one of the most respected violin teachers in the world. During his time at the school, Dominguez participated in numerous masterclasses and competitions, winning several awards and prizes. In 2005, Dominguez graduated from the Reina Sofia School of Music with honors, and he was immediately offered a position as a soloist with the Madrid Symphony Orchestra. He quickly established himself as one of the most talented young violinists in Spain, and he began receiving invitations to perform with orchestras and ensembles throughout Europe. Dominguez's international career took off in 2007, when he won first prize at the International Violin Competition in Paris. The competition was one of the most prestigious in the world, and Dominguez's victory catapulted him to the forefront of the classical music scene. He began receiving invitations to perform with some of the most renowned orchestras in the world, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic. Over the next few years, Dominguez continued to build his reputation as one of the most talented and versatile violinists of his generation. He performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Berlin Philharmonie. He also collaborated with some of the most respected conductors and musicians in the world, including Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta, and Yo-Yo Ma. In 2012, Dominguez released his debut album, featuring works by Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms. The album received critical acclaim and was praised for Dominguez's technical virtuosity and emotional depth. He went on to release several more albums over the next few years, including a recording of the complete works for violin and piano by Mozart. In addition to his performing career, Dominguez is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. He has taught masterclasses at some of the most prestigious music schools in the world, including the Juilliard School in New York and the Royal Academy of Music in London. He is also a passionate advocate for music education and has worked with several organizations to promote music education in schools and communities around the world.
