Emmanuel Tjeknavorian is a young and talented classical music artist who has made a name for himself in the world of classical music. Born on August 22, 1995, in Vienna, Austria, Emmanuel was raised in a family of musicians. His father, Loris Tjeknavorian, is a renowned conductor and composer, while his mother, Hasmik Tjeknavorian, is a pianist. Emmanuel's parents recognized his musical talent at a young age and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. Emmanuel began playing the violin at the age of five and quickly showed a natural aptitude for the instrument. He received his first violin lessons from his mother and later studied with Gerhard Schulz, a former member of the Alban Berg Quartet. Emmanuel's talent was evident from an early age, and he won his first competition at the age of six. As Emmanuel grew older, he continued to hone his skills as a violinist. He attended the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, where he studied with Gerhard Schulz and Julian Rachlin. He has played with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Munich Chamber Orchestra, among others. He has also performed at some of the world's most renowned concert halls, including the Musikverein in Vienna, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and the Carnegie Hall in New York. One of Emmanuel's most notable performances was his debut with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra in 2014. He performed the Beethoven Violin Concerto under the baton of conductor Philippe Jordan, and his performance was met with critical acclaim. The Wiener Zeitung praised his "brilliant technique and musicality," while the Kurier called him a "violinist of the highest order." Emmanuel's talent as a violinist has also been recognized by his peers. In 2015, he was awarded the "Newcomer of the Year" prize at the International Classical Music Awards. He was also named a "Rising Star" by the European Concert Hall Organization, which led to a series of concerts at some of Europe's most prestigious concert halls.
