She began singing at a young age and was discovered by André Rieu, a Dutch violinist and conductor, when she was just 21 years old. Rieu was impressed by her talent and invited her to join his Johann Strauss Orchestra as a soprano soloist. Louwerse quickly became a fan favorite and toured with Rieu for over a decade, performing in sold-out concerts all over the world. Thomas Greuel was born on December 22, 1975, in Germany. He began his music career as a member of the Regensburger Domspatzen, a famous boys' choir in Bavaria. He later studied music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich and the Mozarteum University of Salzburg. Greuel has performed in numerous operas and concerts throughout Europe and has won several awards for his performances. Guido Dieteren was born on December 27, 1977, in the Netherlands. He began playing the violin at a young age and later studied at the Conservatorium Maastricht. Dieteren has performed with several orchestras and has also released several albums as a solo artist. The Platin Tenors were formed in 2006 when Louwerse, Greuel, and Dieteren were brought together by their mutual love of classical music. The group quickly gained popularity and began touring extensively, performing in sold-out concerts all over the world.
