Mirela Ivičević is a Croatian composer who has gained international recognition for her innovative and experimental approach to classical music. One of Ivičević's most notable works is her 2014 composition "Baby Magnify/Lilith's New Toy," which was commissioned by the London Sinfonietta and premiered at the Royal Festival Hall in London. The piece is a multimedia work that combines live performance with electronic music and video projections, and explores themes of gender and identity. Another significant work by Ivičević is her 2016 composition "HARDWARE," which was commissioned by the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival and premiered at the festival that year. The piece is a collaboration with the artist David McLeavy, and features a live performance by the ensemble Plus-Minus alongside a video projection of McLeavy's artwork.
