Chuck Myers was born on May 15, 1985, in New York City. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a classical pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Chuck showed a natural talent for music, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion. Chuck began his musical education at the age of five, studying piano with his father. He quickly progressed and started taking violin lessons at the age of seven. By the time he was ten, Chuck was already performing in local concerts and recitals. In 1997, Chuck was accepted into the Juilliard School's Pre-College Division, where he continued his studies in both piano and violin. He excelled in both instruments and was soon recognized as a rising star in the classical music world. In 2003, Chuck was awarded a full scholarship to attend the Juilliard School's College Division, where he focused on violin performance. During his time at Juilliard, Chuck studied with some of the most renowned violinists in the world, including Itzhak Perlman and Pinchas Zukerman. In 2007, Chuck graduated from Juilliard with a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance. He immediately began his professional career as a soloist and chamber musician, performing in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls. One of Chuck's most notable performances was in 2010, when he performed the Beethoven Violin Concerto with the New York Philharmonic under the baton of Alan Gilbert. The performance was hailed as a triumph, with critics praising Chuck's virtuosity and musicality. In 2012, Chuck was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant, one of the most prestigious awards in classical music. The grant recognizes outstanding young musicians who show exceptional talent and promise for the future. Chuck was the first violinist to receive the award in over a decade. Over the years, Chuck has collaborated with some of the world's most renowned musicians, including Yo-Yo Ma, Joshua Bell, and Lang Lang.
