As Waters grew older, he continued to develop his skills as a pianist. He attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied under some of the most renowned piano teachers in the world. During his time at Juilliard, Waters won several awards for his performances, including the prestigious Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. After graduating from Juilliard, Waters began performing professionally. He performed with some of the most renowned orchestras in the world, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. One of Waters' most memorable performances was his debut at Carnegie Hall in 2008.
