Jeffrey Abrams was born on May 15, 1965, in New York City. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Jeffrey showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. He was a prodigious talent and quickly progressed to more advanced pieces. Jeffrey's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied composition under the tutelage of renowned composer John Williams. During his time at Juilliard, Jeffrey developed a deep appreciation for classical music and began to experiment with different styles and techniques. In 2008, Jeffrey was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Music for his composition "Concerto for Cello and Orchestra." In recent years, Jeffrey has continued to compose new works and collaborate with some of the world's leading musicians.
