Hamish McKeich is a renowned classical music artist from New Zealand. He was born in 1975 in Wellington, New Zealand. From a young age, McKeich showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He later went on to study the clarinet and saxophone, and eventually settled on the trumpet as his primary instrument. McKeich attended the New Zealand School of Music, where he studied under the tutelage of some of the country's most respected musicians. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in 1996 and went on to pursue a career in music. McKeich's career as a classical music artist began in earnest in the late 1990s.
