David Thorne was born on May 15, 1985, in London, England. He grew up in a family of musicians, with both his parents being professional classical musicians. His father was a renowned cellist, and his mother was a pianist. David was exposed to classical music from a very young age and showed a keen interest in it. David started playing the piano when he was just four years old. He showed remarkable talent and was soon performing in public. At the age of eight, he gave his first solo recital at the Royal Festival Hall in London. The audience was amazed by his virtuosity and musicality. David continued to study the piano with some of the best teachers in the world. He attended the Purcell School of Music in London, where he received a scholarship.
