Les Solistes de Bruxelles is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2004 in Brussels, Belgium. The ensemble is made up of some of the most talented musicians in the country, and has gained a reputation for its exceptional performances of classical music. The founding members of Les Solistes de Bruxelles were violinist Yossif Ivanov, cellist Marie Hallynck, and pianist Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden. All three musicians had already established themselves as soloists in their own right, but they came together to form the ensemble with the goal of exploring the rich repertoire of chamber music. Since its founding, Les Solistes de Bruxelles has expanded to include other talented musicians, including violist Tony Nys, clarinetist Ronald Van Spaendonck, and flutist Marc Grauwels. The ensemble's members are all highly respected in the classical music world, and have performed with some of the most prestigious orchestras and ensembles in Europe. One of the highlights of Les Solistes de Bruxelles' career was their performance at the 2006 Festival de Wallonie in Belgium. The ensemble performed a program of works by Mozart, Brahms, and Schumann, and received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. The ensemble's performance was praised for its technical precision, musicality, and emotional depth. In 2008, Les Solistes de Bruxelles released their debut album, which featured works by Beethoven, Brahms, and Schumann. The album was well-received by critics, and helped to establish the ensemble as one of the leading chamber music groups in Europe. Over the years, Les Solistes de Bruxelles has continued to perform at some of the most prestigious venues and festivals in Europe, including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, and the Salzburg Festival in Austria. The ensemble has also collaborated with some of the most renowned conductors and soloists in the classical music world, including Daniel Barenboim, Martha Argerich, and Maxim Vengerov.
