Geneviève Girard is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born in Montreal, Canada, on May 15, 1980, Girard showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. Girard's musical journey began with her enrollment in the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Marc Durand. She quickly excelled in her studies and won several awards, including the prestigious Prix d'Europe in 2002, which allowed her to study in Europe for a year. During her time in Europe, Girard studied with some of the most renowned pianists in the world, including Maria João Pires, Leon Fleisher, and András Schiff. She also performed in several major music festivals, including the Verbier Festival in Switzerland and the Salzburg Festival in Austria.
