Peter Green was a British musician and composer who was born on October 29, 1946, in Bethnal Green, London. He was the youngest of four siblings and grew up in a musical family. His father was a jazz musician, and his mother was a singer. Green showed an early interest in music and began playing the guitar at the age of 11. Green's musical career began in the early 1960s when he joined a band called Peter B's Looners. He then went on to play with several other bands, including John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers and Fleetwood Mac. Green's time with Fleetwood Mac was particularly significant, as he was a founding member of the band and played a key role in shaping their sound. Green's musical style was heavily influenced by blues music, and he was known for his soulful guitar playing and emotive vocals.
