Madison Greenstone is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the industry through her exceptional talent and dedication to her craft. Born in 1985 in New York City, Madison showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents, both music enthusiasts, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion. Madison's love for music continued to grow as she got older, and she began taking formal lessons in piano and violin. She quickly excelled in both instruments and began performing in local concerts and competitions. Her talent did not go unnoticed, and she was soon invited to perform at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. In 2003, Madison was accepted into the Juilliard School, one of the most prestigious music schools in the world. There, she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Yoheved Kaplinsky. Under Kaplinsky's guidance, Madison honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. During her time at Juilliard, Madison participated in numerous competitions and won several awards. In 2005, she won the Juilliard Concerto Competition, which gave her the opportunity to perform with the Juilliard Orchestra. She also won the Gina Bachauer Piano Competition in 2006, which led to her performing at the Bachauer Festival in Salt Lake City. After graduating from Juilliard in 2007, Madison began her professional career as a soloist and chamber musician. She has performed with numerous orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra. She has also collaborated with many renowned musicians, including Joshua Bell, Itzhak Perlman, and Yo-Yo Ma. One of Madison's most notable performances was in 2010, when she performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with the Berlin Philharmonic under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle. The performance was widely praised by critics, who lauded Madison's technical prowess and emotional depth. In addition to her performances, Madison is also a dedicated teacher. She has taught at the Juilliard School, the Manhattan School of Music, and the New England Conservatory of Music. Her students have gone on to win numerous competitions and perform in prestigious venues around the world. Madison's talent and dedication have earned her numerous awards and accolades throughout her career. In 2012, she was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant, which recognizes outstanding young musicians and provides financial support to help them further their careers. She was also named a MacArthur Fellow in 2015, which is one of the most prestigious awards in the arts and sciences. Despite her success, Madison remains humble and dedicated to her craft.
