Romelia Lichtenstein was born on May 12, 1985, in Vienna, Austria. She was born into a family of musicians, with her father being a renowned pianist and her mother a violinist. From a young age, Romelia showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Romelia began her formal music education at the Vienna Conservatory, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Maria João Pires. She quickly gained a reputation as a prodigious talent, and her performances at various concerts and competitions drew the attention of music critics and industry professionals. In 2003, Romelia won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Salzburg, Austria. This was a major milestone in her career, and it opened up many doors for her. She was invited to perform at various prestigious venues around the world, including the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. Over the years, Romelia has collaborated with many renowned conductors and orchestras, including the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the London Symphony Orchestra.
