Naomi Katz is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born in 1985 in New York City, Naomi showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue music as a career. Naomi's musical education began at the Juilliard School's Pre-College Division, where she studied with renowned pianist Yoheved Kaplinsky. She continued her studies at the Manhattan School of Music, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance. Naomi then went on to pursue a Master of Music degree at the Yale School of Music, where she studied with Boris Berman. Throughout her education, Naomi received numerous awards and accolades for her musical talent. She was a recipient of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship, the Yamaha Music Foundation of America Scholarship, and the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts Award. She was also a finalist in the prestigious Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition. Naomi's career as a professional musician began in earnest after she completed her studies at Yale. She quickly gained recognition for her exceptional talent and was invited to perform at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls. In 2010, she made her debut at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, where she received critical acclaim for her performance. Since then, Naomi has performed at numerous other venues, including the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Ravinia Festival, and the Aspen Music Festival. She has also performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Naomi's repertoire is vast and includes works by some of the greatest composers in history, including Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Mozart. She is particularly known for her interpretations of the works of Russian composers, such as Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev. In addition to her performances, Naomi is also a dedicated teacher. She has taught at the Manhattan School of Music and the Yale School of Music, and she currently serves on the faculty of the Juilliard School's Pre-College Division.
