Levinzon's musical education began at the Central Music School in Moscow, where he studied under the tutelage of the renowned pianist Yakov Flier. After completing his studies, Levinzon began performing extensively throughout the Soviet Union and quickly gained a reputation as one of the country's most talented young pianists.
