Celso Albelo is a world-renowned tenor who has captivated audiences with his powerful voice and dynamic performances. Born on February 23, 1971, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, Albelo grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to classical music from a young age. His father was a singer and his mother was a pianist, and they encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Albelo began his formal music education at the Conservatory of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where he studied under the guidance of soprano Gloria Fabuel. He later continued his studies at the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid, where he trained with renowned tenor Alfredo Kraus. Kraus recognized Albelo's talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in opera. In 1994, Albelo made his professional debut in the role of Ernesto in Donizetti's Don Pasquale at the Teatro Pérez Galdós in Las Palmas. He quickly gained recognition for his powerful voice and dynamic stage presence, and began to receive invitations to perform at major opera houses around the world. One of Albelo's most notable performances was his portrayal of the Duke of Mantua in Verdi's Rigoletto at the Royal Opera House in London in 2009.
