Rita Medjimorec is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1985, in Zagreb, Croatia, Rita showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. Rita's musical journey began at the Music School in Zagreb, where she studied under the guidance of Professor Ljerka Očić. She showed exceptional talent and dedication, and her hard work paid off when she won her first competition at the age of nine. This was just the beginning of her successful career in music. In 2003, Rita enrolled at the Music Academy in Zagreb, where she studied under the tutelage of Professor Ruben Dalibaltayan. She continued to excel in her studies and won several awards and competitions, including the prestigious Croatian National Competition for Young Musicians. Rita's talent and hard work did not go unnoticed, and she was invited to perform at several major events and festivals. In 2005, she performed at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, where she received critical acclaim for her performance of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 23 in F minor, Op. 57, also known as the "Appassionata." In 2007, Rita was invited to perform at the International Keyboard Institute and Festival in New York City. This was a significant milestone in her career, as it was her first performance outside of Croatia. She performed works by Chopin, Liszt, and Prokofiev, and her performance was met with a standing ovation. Rita's talent and dedication to music continued to be recognized, and she was awarded several scholarships and grants to further her studies. In 2008, she was awarded a scholarship from the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education, and Sports to study at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, Germany.
