Danielle Ondarza is a classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the industry through her exceptional talent and dedication to her craft. Born on May 12, 1985, in New York City, Danielle grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to music from a very young age. Her mother was a pianist, and her father was a composer, so it was only natural that Danielle would develop a love for music. Danielle began her musical journey by learning to play the piano at the age of five. She quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument and began taking lessons with renowned pianists in New York City. By the time she was ten years old, Danielle had already won several local piano competitions and was well on her way to becoming a professional musician. As Danielle grew older, she began to explore other instruments and discovered a love for the cello. She began taking lessons with some of the best cello teachers in the city and quickly became proficient on the instrument. Her dedication to the cello paid off when she was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. At Juilliard, Danielle studied under some of the most renowned cello teachers in the world, including Yo-Yo Ma and Lynn Harrell. She also had the opportunity to perform in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. During her time at Juilliard, Danielle won several awards and scholarships, including the prestigious Juilliard Concerto Competition. After graduating from Juilliard, Danielle began her professional career as a cellist. She quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented young cellists in the industry and was invited to perform with some of the most prestigious orchestras in the world, including the New York Philharmonic and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. One of the highlights of Danielle's career came in 2010 when she was invited to perform at the White House for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Danielle performed a solo cello piece that left the audience in awe and earned her a standing ovation. In addition to her work as a soloist, Danielle is also a dedicated chamber musician. She has performed with some of the most renowned chamber groups in the world, including the Emerson String Quartet and the Guarneri Quartet. Danielle is also a member of the New York Philharmonic's chamber music series, where she performs regularly with other members of the orchestra. Throughout her career, Danielle has received numerous awards and accolades for her exceptional talent and dedication to her craft. In 2015, she was awarded the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, which is given to outstanding young musicians who show exceptional promise for a career in classical music.
