He was trained under the guidance of his guru, Shri Ramesh Bhai Joshi, who was a renowned tabla player. Vivek's dedication and hard work paid off, and he soon became proficient in playing the tabla. At the age of 12, Vivek started learning the sitar, a stringed instrument, under the tutelage of his guru, Shri Chintan Bhatt.
