Born in South Korea in 1975, Kim showed an early interest in music and began studying piano at the age of six. However, it was not until he was a teenager that he discovered his true passion for singing. Kim's talent was quickly recognized, and he was accepted into the prestigious Seoul National University School of Music. After graduating with honors, Kim continued his studies in Italy, where he trained with some of the most renowned opera singers in the world.
