He won his first competition at the age of eight and went on to win numerous awards throughout his childhood and teenage years. At the age of 16, he was accepted into the prestigious Vienna Conservatory, where he studied under some of the most renowned piano teachers in the world. After completing his studies at the Vienna Conservatory, Stang began performing professionally. He quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented young pianists in the world, and his performances were praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth.
