Camerata Saint-Louis is a classical music ensemble based in St. Louis, Missouri. The group was founded in 2009 by violinist and conductor David Halen, who serves as the ensemble's artistic director. The group's mission is to bring high-quality classical music performances to the St. Louis community and beyond. The ensemble is made up of some of the finest musicians in the St. Louis area, many of whom are members of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. The group's core members include David Halen on violin, Bjorn Ranheim on cello, and Allegra Lilly on harp. Other members of the ensemble include violinists Celeste Golden Boyer, Kristin Ahlstrom, and Erin Schreiber, violist Chris Tantillo, and bassist Erik Harris. Camerata Saint-Louis has performed at a number of prestigious venues, including the Sheldon Concert Hall, the Touhill Performing Arts Center, and the Missouri Botanical Garden. The group has also collaborated with a number of renowned soloists, including pianist Orli Shaham and cellist Lynn Harrell. One of the highlights of Camerata Saint-Louis's career was their performance at the 2013 National Flute Association Convention in New Orleans.
