During her time at Juilliard, Talmi studied with renowned pianists such as Rosina Lhévinne and Adele Marcus. After completing her studies, Talmi began her career as a concert pianist, performing in major cities around the world. She quickly gained a reputation for her virtuosic playing and her ability to interpret a wide range of musical styles. Talmi's repertoire includes works by classical composers such as Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart, as well as contemporary composers such as George Crumb and John Cage.
