From a young age, Nils showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Nils received his formal music education at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and pedagogue, Prof. Fabio Bidini. During his time at the conservatory, Nils honed his skills as a pianist and developed a deep understanding of classical music. In 2007, Nils made his debut as a soloist with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5. The performance was a resounding success, and Nils received critical acclaim for his virtuosic playing and musical interpretation. Over the years, Nils has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Vienna Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with many renowned conductors, such as Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Barenboim, and Zubin Mehta. One of Nils' most memorable performances was his rendition of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. The performance was hailed as a triumph, with critics praising Nils' technical prowess and emotional depth. In addition to his work as a soloist, Nils is also an accomplished chamber musician. He has performed with many of the world's leading chamber ensembles, including the Emerson String Quartet and the Guarneri Quartet.
