Erika Miklósa is a Hungarian soprano who has gained international recognition for her performances in the world of classical music. Born on February 17, 1970, in Kiskunhalas, Hungary, Miklósa grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a conductor, and her mother was a music teacher. From a young age, Miklósa showed a keen interest in music and began taking piano lessons at the age of six. Miklósa's talent for singing was discovered when she was a teenager. She began studying voice at the Béla Bartók Conservatory in Budapest, where she was mentored by the renowned Hungarian soprano, Éva Marton. Miklósa's talent was evident from the start, and she quickly gained a reputation as one of the most promising young singers in Hungary. In 1990, Miklósa won the Hungarian Radio's International Singing Competition, which launched her career as a professional opera singer. She made her debut at the Hungarian State Opera in Budapest in 1991, where she performed the role of the Queen of the Night in Mozart's "The Magic Flute." Her performance was a huge success, and she quickly became a favorite among audiences and critics alike.
