During his time at the University of North Texas, Zhani won several awards and scholarships, including the prestigious Presser Foundation Award. After completing his Master's degree, Zhani continued his education at the University of Texas at Austin, where he received his Doctorate in Piano Performance in 2009. He studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and pedagogue, Anton Nel. During his time at the University of Texas at Austin, Zhani won several awards and scholarships, including the prestigious Butler School of Music Endowed Presidential Scholarship. Zhani's talent and dedication to music have led him to perform in various concerts and recitals around the world. He has performed in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. Zhani has also performed with renowned orchestras such as the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, and the Austin Symphony Orchestra.
