One of Kanno's most famous works is his opera "The Raven," which was based on the poem by Edgar Allan Poe. The opera premiered in 1994 and was well-received by audiences and critics alike. Kanno also composed a number of orchestral works, including his Symphony No. 1, which premiered in 1985.
