Linha Singers is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2015 by a group of talented musicians who shared a passion for choral music. The ensemble is based in São Paulo, Brazil, and is known for its unique blend of traditional choral music with contemporary styles. The founding members of Linha Singers were all experienced musicians who had previously performed with other choral groups in Brazil. They came together with the goal of creating a new ensemble that would showcase their individual talents and push the boundaries of traditional choral music. The main members of Linha Singers are conductor and artistic director, Felipe Viana, and singers Ana Paula Machado, Bruna Rocha, Camila Oliveira, Daniel Souza, Felipe Oliveira, Gabriel Oliveira, Guilherme Oliveira, Gustavo Oliveira, Isabela Oliveira, João Paulo Oliveira, and Juliana Oliveira. Each member brings a unique voice and style to the ensemble, creating a rich and diverse sound. Since its founding, Linha Singers has performed at numerous concerts and festivals throughout Brazil and internationally. Some of the ensemble's most notable performances include their debut concert at the São Paulo Museum of Art, their performance at the 2016 International Choral Festival in Buenos Aires, and their collaboration with the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra in 2018. Linha Singers has also received several awards and recognitions for their outstanding performances. In 2016, the ensemble won first place in the Chamber Choir category at the São Paulo Choral Competition. They were also awarded the Best Interpretation of a Brazilian Piece at the same competition. In addition to their performances and awards, Linha Singers is also committed to promoting choral music education in Brazil. The ensemble regularly conducts workshops and masterclasses for young singers and choral groups, sharing their knowledge and expertise with the next generation of musicians.
