Carlos Riazuelo was born on May 12, 1985, in Madrid, Spain. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned classical guitarist and his mother a pianist. From a young age, Riazuelo showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Riazuelo's parents recognized his potential and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his mother and later studied under the tutelage of renowned pianists in Spain. Riazuelo's dedication and hard work paid off, and he quickly gained recognition as a prodigious talent in the classical music world. In 2003, Riazuelo won first prize in the prestigious International Piano Competition in Santander, Spain. Despite his success, Riazuelo remains humble and dedicated to his craft. He continues to practice for hours every day and is constantly seeking to improve his skills and expand his repertoire. In addition to his performing career, Riazuelo is also a passionate educator. He has taught masterclasses at some of the world's leading music schools, including the Juilliard School in New York City and the Royal Academy of Music in London.
