Bob Keeshan was an American classical music artist who was born on June 27, 1927, in Lynbrook, New York. He was the son of a successful businessman and a homemaker. Keeshan grew up in a family that valued education and the arts, and he was encouraged to pursue his passion for music from a young age. Keeshan began his musical training at the age of six, when he started taking piano lessons. He quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument and began performing in public at the age of eight.
