Alberto Lotti Camici was born on May 12, 1985, in Florence, Italy. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Alberto showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Alberto's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed his skills. By the age of ten, Alberto had already performed in several concerts and had won several local competitions. In 1997, Alberto was accepted into the prestigious Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini in Florence, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Franco Scala. During his time at the conservatory, Alberto honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. After graduating from the conservatory, Alberto began performing in concerts across Italy and Europe. He quickly gained a reputation as a talented and passionate pianist, with a unique style that blended classical and contemporary influences. In 2008, Alberto won the prestigious International Piano Competition in Rome, which brought him international recognition and opened up new opportunities for him. He began performing in major concert halls across the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. Over the years, Alberto has collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras and conductors, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. He has also worked with some of the most renowned composers of our time, including Philip Glass, John Adams, and Steve Reich. In addition to his performances, Alberto is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. He has taught at several music schools and conservatories across Europe and has mentored many young musicians who have gone on to achieve great success in their own careers. Throughout his career, Alberto has received numerous awards and accolades for his contributions to classical music. In 2012, he was awarded the prestigious Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, which is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon an Italian citizen. He has also been awarded the International Classical Music Award, the Gramophone Award, and the Echo Klassik Award. Despite his many achievements, Alberto remains humble and dedicated to his craft. He continues to perform and teach, always striving to push the boundaries of classical music and inspire the next generation of musicians.
