Born in Paris, France, on May 12, 1985, Isabelle showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents, who were both music enthusiasts, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion. Isabelle's musical journey began with her enrollment in the Conservatoire de Paris, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and composer, Jean-Michel Damase. She quickly excelled in her studies and was soon recognized as a prodigious talent. Her exceptional skills and dedication to her craft earned her numerous awards and accolades, including the prestigious Prix de Conservatoire. After completing her studies at the Conservatoire de Paris, Isabelle continued her musical education at the Juilliard School in New York City. There, she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Emanuel Ax. Her time at Juilliard was a transformative experience, and she credits Ax with helping her to refine her technique and develop her unique musical voice. Isabelle's talent and hard work paid off when she won the International Piano Competition in Geneva in 2005.
