He was the youngest of three children born to a family of musicians. His father was a violinist, and his mother was a pianist. Markus grew up in a musical environment, and he started playing the piano at the age of four. Markus showed a great interest in music from a young age, and his parents recognized his talent. They encouraged him to pursue a career in music, and he started taking piano lessons with his mother. Markus was a quick learner, and he soon started composing his own music. Markus attended the Vienna Conservatory, where he studied composition under the guidance of renowned composers such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven. He also studied piano and violin, and he became proficient in both instruments. After completing his studies, Markus started working as a freelance composer. He composed music for various orchestras and ensembles, and his works were well-received by audiences and critics alike. Markus was known for his unique style, which blended classical and contemporary elements. One of Markus's most notable works was his Symphony No. 1, which he composed in 1990.
