Charles Wood was a renowned classical music artist who made significant contributions to the world of music. He was born on June 15, 1866, in Armagh, Northern Ireland, to a family of musicians. His father was a church organist, and his mother was a singer. Charles showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at a young age. Wood received his early education at the Royal School Armagh, where he was a chorister. He later attended the Royal College of Music in London, where he studied under Charles Villiers Stanford.
