Raymond Amade was born on May 15, 1985, in Paris, France. He was born into a family of musicians, and his parents were both professional classical musicians. His father was a renowned pianist, and his mother was a violinist. From a young age, Raymond was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Raymond's parents recognized his talent and enrolled him in the Conservatoire de Paris at the age of six. He quickly excelled in his studies and began performing in public at the age of eight. By the time he was ten, he had won several local and national competitions. In 1997, Raymond was invited to perform at the International Piano Competition in Moscow, Russia. He was the youngest competitor in the competition, but he impressed the judges with his technical skill and musicality. He was awarded first prize, and his performance was broadcast on national television in Russia. After his success in Moscow, Raymond's career took off. He began performing in major concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Sydney Opera House in Australia. He also performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic. In 2005, Raymond released his first album, which featured works by Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. The album received critical acclaim and was nominated for several awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Classical Instrumental Solo. Over the years, Raymond has continued to release albums and perform in concerts around the world. He has also become known for his work as a composer, and his compositions have been performed by orchestras and ensembles around the world. In addition to his performing and composing work, Raymond is also a dedicated teacher. He has taught masterclasses at several universities and conservatories, including the Juilliard School in New York and the Royal Academy of Music in London. Throughout his career, Raymond has received numerous awards and honors. In 2010, he was awarded the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government for his contributions to the arts.
