He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a professional pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Saltarelli showed a natural talent for music, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion. Saltarelli began his formal music education at the age of six, studying piano with his father. He quickly progressed and started performing in public at the age of eight. At the age of ten, he started studying violin with his mother, and by the age of twelve, he was performing as a soloist with local orchestras. In 2003, Saltarelli was accepted into the Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied violin with Itzhak Perlman and piano with Emanuel Ax. During his time at Juilliard, Saltarelli won numerous awards and competitions, including the prestigious Juilliard Concerto Competition. After graduating from Juilliard in 2007, Saltarelli embarked on a successful career as a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his solo career, Saltarelli is also a dedicated chamber musician. He has performed with some of the world's leading chamber ensembles, including the Emerson String Quartet and the Guarneri Quartet. Saltarelli is known for his virtuosic technique and his ability to bring out the emotional depth of the music he plays. He has a particular affinity for the music of Beethoven, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky, and has recorded several critically acclaimed albums of their works. In recognition of his achievements, Saltarelli has received numerous awards and honors throughout his career.
