European Sinfonietta is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2006 by a group of young musicians who shared a passion for chamber music. The ensemble is based in Prague, Czech Republic, and is known for its dynamic and innovative performances of classical and contemporary music. The founding members of European Sinfonietta were all graduates of the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. European Sinfonietta has performed extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States, and has collaborated with some of the world's leading soloists and conductors. The ensemble has also recorded several albums, including a critically acclaimed recording of Dvořák's Serenade for Strings. One of the highlights of European Sinfonietta's career was their performance at the 2010 Prague Spring International Music Festival. The ensemble performed a program of works by Czech composers, including Dvořák's Serenade for Strings and Janáček's Suite for String Orchestra.
