Mary Jaeb was born on May 12, 1985, in New York City. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Mary showed a natural talent for music and began taking piano lessons at the age of four. As she grew older, Mary's love for music only intensified. She began studying at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. She then went on to earn her Master's degree from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Throughout her career, Mary has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. She has also performed with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. One of Mary's most notable performances was her debut at Carnegie Hall in 2008. She performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, also known as the "Emperor" concerto, with the New York Philharmonic. The performance was met with critical acclaim, with The New York Times calling it "a stunning display of virtuosity and musicality." Mary has also received numerous awards and accolades throughout her career. In 2010, she was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant, which is given to outstanding young musicians who show great potential for a solo career.
