Liliane Zürcher was born on May 12, 1985, in Zurich, Switzerland. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Liliane showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. As a child, Liliane was enrolled in the Zurich Conservatory of Music, where she received formal training in piano performance. She quickly excelled in her studies and began performing in public at the age of six. Her talent was recognized early on, and she was awarded several prizes in local and national competitions. In 1997, Liliane was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City, where she continued her studies under the tutelage of renowned pianist Yoheved Kaplinsky. During her time at Juilliard, Liliane honed her skills as a performer and developed a deep appreciation for classical music. After graduating from Juilliard in 2001, Liliane embarked on a career as a concert pianist. She quickly gained a reputation as a talented and dynamic performer, known for her technical proficiency and emotional depth. Her performances were praised for their clarity, precision, and sensitivity. Over the years, Liliane has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Royal Albert Hall. She has collaborated with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. Liliane's repertoire is vast and varied, encompassing works from the Baroque era to the present day. In addition to her work as a performer, Liliane is also a dedicated teacher.
