Pasquale Scircoli was born on May 12, 1985, in Bari, Italy. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a pianist and his mother a singer. From a young age, Scircoli showed a natural talent for music and began studying the piano at the age of six. Scircoli's early musical education was focused on classical piano, and he quickly became a prodigious talent. He won his first competition at the age of nine and went on to win numerous awards and accolades throughout his teenage years. In 2001, he was awarded a scholarship to study at the prestigious Conservatorio di Musica "N. Piccinni" in Bari, where he continued to hone his skills under the guidance of some of Italy's most renowned piano teachers. After completing his studies at the Conservatorio, Scircoli began to establish himself as a soloist and chamber musician, performing in concerts and festivals throughout Italy and Europe. He quickly gained a reputation for his virtuosic playing and his ability to bring out the emotional depth and complexity of the music he performed. One of Scircoli's most notable performances came in 2008, when he was invited to perform at the prestigious Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Italy. His performance of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14, "Moonlight," was widely praised for its sensitivity and nuance, and cemented Scircoli's reputation as one of Italy's most promising young pianists. In the years that followed, Scircoli continued to build his career as a soloist and chamber musician, performing in some of the world's most renowned concert halls and collaborating with some of the most respected musicians of his generation. He also began to explore his interest in contemporary music, commissioning and performing works by some of Italy's most innovative composers. In 2015, Scircoli was awarded the prestigious Premio Abbiati, one of Italy's highest honors for classical musicians. The award recognized his outstanding contributions to the world of classical music and his commitment to promoting the art form to new audiences. Today, Scircoli continues to be an active performer and recording artist, with a repertoire that spans from the Baroque era to the present day.
