Dario Teskera is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on December 12, 1985, in Zagreb, Croatia, Teskera showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Teskera's musical journey began at the Music School Blagoje Bersa in Zagreb, where he studied piano under the guidance of Professor Maja Dešpalj Begović. He later continued his studies at the Music Academy in Zagreb, where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance. During his studies, Teskera participated in numerous competitions and won several awards, including the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Pula, Croatia, and the third prize at the International Piano Competition in Rome, Italy. After completing his studies, Teskera continued to hone his skills and gain experience by participating in various music festivals and competitions. In 2010, he won the first prize at the International Piano Competition in San Dona di Piave, Italy, and the following year, he won the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Osijek, Croatia. Teskera's talent and dedication to music soon caught the attention of renowned musicians and conductors, and he was invited to perform with several orchestras, including the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, the Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, and the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed in numerous concerts and recitals in Croatia and abroad, including in Italy, Austria, Germany, and the United States. One of Teskera's most notable performances was his debut with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra in 2012, where he performed Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. The performance was met with critical acclaim, and Teskera was praised for his technical skill and emotional depth. He has since performed with the orchestra on several occasions, including a performance of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in 2016. In addition to his performances, Teskera is also a dedicated music educator. He has taught piano at the Music School Blagoje Bersa in Zagreb and the Music Academy in Osijek, and has given masterclasses in Croatia and abroad.
