Elena Traversi was born on May 12, 1985, in Milan, Italy. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her father being a renowned pianist and her mother a violinist. From a young age, Elena showed a keen interest in music and began taking piano lessons at the age of five. As she grew older, Elena's passion for music only intensified, and she began to explore other instruments, including the violin and the cello. She also began to study music theory and composition, and by the time she was a teenager, she had already composed several pieces of her own. In 2003, Elena was accepted into the prestigious Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, where she studied piano performance under the tutelage of Maestro Carlo Maria Giulini.
