From a young age, Sigrid was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Sigrid began her formal music education at the George Enescu Music High School in Bucharest. She studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Ana Pitiș. During her time at the school, Sigrid won several awards and competitions, including the National Piano Competition in Romania. After completing her studies at the George Enescu Music High School, Sigrid went on to study at the National University of Music in Bucharest. She continued to excel in her studies and won several awards, including the First Prize at the National Piano Competition in Romania. In 2007, Sigrid was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She moved to the UK and began studying under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Christopher Elton. During her time at the Royal Academy of Music, Sigrid won several awards and competitions, including the prestigious Royal Academy of Music Club Prize. After completing her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, Sigrid began performing professionally.
