Joe Taylor was born on May 15, 1985, in New York City. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a jazz pianist and his mother a classical violinist. From a young age, Joe showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Joe's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue music seriously. He began taking piano lessons with renowned pianist and teacher, Maria Rodriguez, at the age of six. Under her guidance, Joe quickly developed his skills and began performing in local concerts and competitions. At the age of 12, Joe won first prize in the New York State Piano Competition, which marked the beginning of his professional career. He continued to win numerous awards and accolades throughout his teenage years, including the prestigious Van Cliburn International Piano Competition at the age of 17. After graduating from high school, Joe attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Vladimir Horowitz.
